Recycling & The Environment

Environment
Recycling 1 tonne of paper saves approximately 14 trees and prevents 2 cubic metres of landfill tipping! This process saves thousands of trees each year. Recycled paper uses around 65% less energy, 50% less water and 72% less air pollution than paper products made from virgin wood pulp!

Recycling
Where does my material go for recycling?
We send paper to one of the UK pulp, paper & board recycling mills where it's treated and processed into new paper products.

All your paper is shredded at our depot and is baled by Chas.Storer Ltd. for recycling. Baled paper is then shipped by road to the paper mill, here it is pulped and then re-used in various forms of paper, tissue paper, writing paper and cardboard etc.
